The Illinois Global Partnership focuses private and public resources to build collaborative international partnerships. We are a people-to-people organization working with international, federal, state, and local groups to boost international trade and raise Illinois' profile as a global center of commerce.

Our Vision & Responsibilities
In the fast-growing global marketplace, the Illinois Global Partnership helps ensure a competitive advantage for the State's already vibrant economy. We are a tireless advocate for Illinois' diverse industries and resources — from heavy manufacturing, rich agriculture, transportation and tourism, to high-technology, financial and professional services, and world class research and educational institutions.

Though new, we are moving quickly to implement our ambitious plans. The Illinois Department of Agriculture international marketing functions — employees and overseas trade offices will soon become part of our organization. We are undertaking other initiatives with the cooperation of premier partners from the public and private sectors, such as La Raza Newspaper, The Argentine American Chamber of Commerce, Charter One Bank, Surge Capital, EuroChicago, U.S. Export Assistance Center, and many others.
